The Humane League frequently hosts interns for periods of one to six months. Interning with the Humane League is a great way to gain valuable job experience in the non-profit field while at the same time helping to create a more compassionate world for animals. As an intern, you will be involved in a wide variety of projects, inluding: -Networking with major players in the animal protection movement The Humane League is a very active animal advocacy organization, so you will be working on a wide variety of projects that require your dedication and hard work. All interns must be available for at least one month, 15 hours a week for part-time interns, and up to 40 hours a week for full-time. All internships are unpaid. In rare occassions, full-time interns can be provided with free housing, but interns who can provide for their own housing will be given priority. There are no deadlines for internship applications. We accept applications year-round and review applications as they arrive.
